For those of you wondering how to start a conversation in English or mix it up with small talk.  This is the song.  It goes through a general American greeting and conversation.  Hey!  How's it goin'?  What have you been up to?  The answer?  A lot of phrases in the song.  Also, the song uses I have been (verb+ing) which is used to talk about routines that are still happening.

The point of this song is to give a chance to practice 2 different phrases we use in American English.  The first sentence is I would've (verb+ed / irregular verb), the 2nd is I wish I woulda (verb+ed / irregular verb).  There are 2 different ways to contract it, (woulda & would've).  In this song you can practice speaking about past regrets.

This song was created to show how to use I have verb + ed to talk about life experience.  The song also highlights the difference between I have verb & I've got which is used commonly in America to talk about things we have, which helps us tell the difference easily in general conversation.

This song was created to keep things a little bit more fun.  It uses a few different phrases you can use to talk about your life.  The first is I used to (verb).  This is used to talk about past experiences and past routines.  The other phrase in this song is I'm just ... it can be verb+ing or I'm just happy, I'm just sad.  It is used to talk about yourself in a way that is less exciting.
